Week 11 - 14 / Lecture 11 -14
Throughout these couple weeks, we are just focusing on the Final Project. We will be getting feedback from Mr. Martin on our progress each week.

TASKS
Week 11 / Final Project Part 1
The first step in doing the final project is Idea Development. I would have talked about myself in this part. I like stuff, who I am, and what I plan to make.
Idea Development
Write a biography about yourself.
Ola!! I am Emran Tarek Sayed. I am 20 and currently a student studying at Taylor’s University. I am a Malaysian born in Johor, but now I live in Shah Alam. Let us talk about my favorite thing to do in my free time; I just love to stare at the sky during the day and the stars while listening to music. That is when I am at peace. There are a few others I like to do, such as playing guitar, football, reading books, etc. Ambition. My ambition would be I want to be successful one day. So I can help my parents, friends, etc. I am the type of person who just wants to have an easy life, if I were successful, I would be rich, and once I am rich, I would be happy until I die. However, there is one impossible dream of mine, which is to fly. So with this final project, I would visualize myself with wings while looking at the sky.
Write a statement about your work.
I would probably sit on a bench with wings on my back, looking at the sky ( you know, since it is impossible to fly ). It is to imply that the wings are just imaginary, not absolute, which is why I am just staring at the sky, not flying. It would give a soothing vibe in a sense, windy, chilling, etc. I want to let people know that I am a laid-back person. I get stressed sometimes, but I just don’t care about much stuff. Just want to chill, that is all. Let us just call this work of mine Inner Peace.
Week 12 / Final Project Part 2
After we were done with the idea development, we would have to start with visual research to get inspiration and sketch our ideas. So here is mine.

Week 13 / Final Project Part 3
As for the third part, we would have to start editing our final project in photoshop using all the knowledge required previously. And start with the animation. As starters, I began by taking a picture of myself.

And then, I started editing myself in photoshop. I started by adding the background.

Then I added wings on my back.

And cleaned it up a little bit to make it look better.

Afterward, I would start animating, and here is my progress.

Week 14 / Final Project Last Part
I wasn't satisfied with my first progress, so I added some extra content to it. And here is the final version of my animation.

REFLECTION
Final Project: Self-Titled
I must say it was pretty hard, the animating part of it, I mean. I struggled to make it smooth and not make the video turn blurry. I tried so many ways to improve it and didn't have enough time to finish. As a result, I had to submit my final project with disappointment. It was mainly my fault for not doing it earlier; I thought it wouldn't be hard as I had no problem with the previous project. However, I seriously believe I could do better if I were to start earlier.
